I'm Grant, a dedicated Shopify Developer, with a passion for crafting seamless online experiences. Drawing from my experiences as a British Army soldier, where I served in the Coldstream Guards Recce Platoon, I bring a unique blend of discipline, adaptability, and attention to detail to everything I do.
In the fast-paced world of e-commerce, I thrive on delivering tailored solutions that go beyond meeting client expectations. With a background in the British Army, I bring a strong foundation of precision, reliability, and clear communication—qualities essential to achieving exceptional results.
Whether it's building robust Shopify stores, optimising user interfaces, or troubleshooting technical issues, I approach each project with the same dedication and focus that defined my time in service.
During my time as a developer I have worked for one of the leading Shopify agencies in the UK, Charle, as well as undertaking freelance work, for a range of clients on both Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.
While working at Charle, I had the opportunity to work with RNLI to improve their store, working on re-developing the cart page, cart drawer, migrating the theme to OS 2.0 and undertaking various other tasks to sections across the store. Project Link.
While working at Charle, I was able to get involved in the re-design of the Joel & Son store, working alongside a designer and account manager to re-create the store from Figma designs, working on the product page, collection page, blog page and homepage. Project Link.
While working at Charle, the main project I was involved in was migrating the store theme to OS 2.0, enabling more flexibility across the store. Project Link.
As a Freelance Developer, I took on a project from where my daughter plays football, The Little Lionesses, to setup and customise a shopify store to showcase the girls football team and sell merchandise. (Not yet currently live).
While working at Charle, I undertook a theme development project, developing a number of pages from Figma designs across the store such as the 'about us', 'Sustainability' and 'Our People' pages, and making changes to various sections elsewhere across the store. Project Link.
While working at Charle, I undertook tasks developing checkout extensions on the checkout for Angels Face, as well as undertaking a large amount of development work across the site, working alongside other developers using Figma designs to work on the re-development of the store. Project Link.
